  • Starting ages depend on the program:

    Tae Kwon Do - 3 Years & Up

    Parkour - 5 Years & Up

    Jiu Jitsu - 7 Years & Up

  • All incoming students are welcome to try any program (age permitting) to decide what is best for them.

    • Tae Kwon Do is the core of our TRADITIONAL program. These classes are primarily stand-up martial arts curriculum. The pace is a bit quicker than the Jiu Jitsu program. Our traditional martial arts curriculum is oriented primarily around Tae Kwon Do with elements of Krav Maga, Kickboxing, & Karate.

    • Parkour (Ninja Trix) is a HYBRID program, combining gymnastics, basic martial arts skills, & parkour. This program is ideal for students looking more to grow their tumbling, agility, and parkour abilities.

    • Jiu Jitsu is primarily a ground sport. The Jiu Jitsu program is a structured, self-defense based program. Team Chip is the only certified Carlos Machado Affiliate in Abilene.

  • Absolutely. Team Chip offers a unique atmosphere in all of it’s programs of structure and discipline and will meet your child where they are, without compromising expectations.

  • Our class schedule offers much more flexibility than mainstream sports. Student’s monthly tuition covers all class times offered for the specific program. Students can attend any time or day that fits best with their schedule and can adjust as needed based on other commitments. WE are the flexible activity!

  • Our Jiu Jitsu and Traditional Tae Kwon Do programs offer classes Monday-Saturday! Parkour classes are offered Mon, Wed, & Friday!

    We recommend students attend classes at least 2 times per week!
